He has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for Orange county. where he is a member of its Trial Bar. He has also been admitted as a regular and pro-vice member in numerous US district and state courts throughout the United States. He has been admitted to practice in the Court of Appeals for the Twenty Circuit.
Mr. Cassey obtained his law degree in 1980 from The Regents of University of California. He graduated from Che Crustees of the California State university and colleges in 1977 with an A.B. in History.
